01 — The challenge
Cracked, stained and failing render, a blocked-up doorway and an exterior that let the whole property down.
02 — The approach
The old render was stripped back to brick and the walls externally insulated with mechanically fixed boards. A new render system followed, with a dark plinth and a rebuilt stone porch.
03 — The result
A clean, warm, low-maintenance exterior that looks like a new house, and performs like one.
